Gastroenterology Fellowship

Thank you for your interest in the Gastroenterology Fellowship Training Program at the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria (UICOMP).

Our fellowship program spans three years, offering a comprehensive and rewarding experience. Each year, we accept three fellows into the program, ensuring a focused and personalized training environment.

Applying to the Fellowship Heading link

The Gastroenterology Fellowship Program participates in the National Residency Match Program (NRMP) via the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS), beginning July 15. Applications are reviewed from July 15 to August 31. The interview period is during September and October.

Desirable Qualities in Applicants

All applications to our program will be considered; however, applicants that have demonstrated strong performance on clinical rotations, teamwork, standardized examinations and scholarly output will receive highest consideration.

For International Medical Graduates
