Pediatric Hospital Medicine Fellowship Curriculum
Training consists of 16 weeks of clinical weeks per year, for each of the two years of fellowship. Clinical training will occur at the OSF HealthCare Children’s Hospital of Illinois (CHOI) campus, with 4 weeks being spent at community sites. 16 week of electives rotations are available including, but not limited to, cardiology, pulmonology, palliative care, anesthesia, radiology, child abuse pediatrics, and infectious disease. Additionally, trainees may choose to complete a simulation fellowship during their time at CHOI.
Scholarly time is spent in QI and research endeavors including research training, completion of IHI modules, Stanford teaching series and Simulation and debrief education.
