UICOMP has numerous student interest groups related to sports and fitness. The Student Lounge also features many amenities including fitness equipment, billiards, and ping-pong.

- RiverPlex Recreation & Wellness Center: The annual UICOMP student membership fee is $50. Student members have access to the fitness center, AquaPlex, Indoor track, group exercise classes, member’s gym, and locker rooms. Students can sign up for annual memberships by visiting the Riverplex with their student ID.
- Greater Peoria Family YMCA: Your membership at the theRiverPlex also gives you access to the Greater Peoria Family YMCA.
