About
Medical School: University of Pikeville – Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine
I grew up in a small town in Eastern Kentucky called Pikeville. I completed my bachelor of science degree in Biomedical sciences at Morehead State University in Morehead, KY before returning home to pursue my doctorate at the University of Pikeville. I chose family medicine because of the versatility of the profession. I love that it gives you the avenue to practice outpatient medicine, inpatient medicine, and obstetrics. I chose UICOMP because I felt this program could give me quality training in all three of those fields. In my free time, I love spending time with my husband (who is also a resident in this program), exploring his hometown of Chicago, painting with acrylic and watercolor, and hand crafting espresso beverages at home.
