Dr. Wei-Cheng (Wilson) Hsiao

Dr. Wei-Cheng (Wilson) Hsiao joins the Psychiatry and Psychology Clinic at the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria (UICOMP) where he offers evidence-based services for the community, including psychological testing and individual therapy sessions for adults.

The clinic is accepting referrals for comprehensive psychological testing for the assessment of personality, social, or emotional difficulties, memory problems, and attention and executive functioning (such as ADHD screenings), among others. Dr. Hsiao also accepts referrals for outpatient therapy for depression, anxiety, personality disorders, grief, self-esteem, relationship problems, cross-cultural issues, and others.

Dr. Hsiao received his PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Toledo and is the former Indiana University Assessment and Research Coordinator. He brings more than a decade of patient care experience to the Peoria community.

The Psychiatry and Psychology Clinic is located in the Atrium Building, 900 Main Street, Suite 720, in Peoria.  Patients may be referred by calling (309) 495-1640 or faxing (309) 495-1644. The clinic accepts most insurance. It is the only mental health clinic in the region associated with a residency program nationally certified by the American College of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
