Congratulations to UICOMP’s David Pinson, DVM, PhD, on his selection as the 2024 College of Medicine Faculty of the Year Award recipient!
Dr. Pinson, professor of clinical pathology in the Department of Health Sciences and Pathology, was chosen for the College-wide honor by his peers in recognition of his extensive record of excellence in curriculum development and improvement, long-standing and dedicated service to key committees, and significant contributions to Peoria’s research programs. Dr. Pinson joined UICOMP in 2011 and has made significant contributions both at the Peoria regional campus and across the College of Medicine. He will be officially presented the 2024 Faculty of the Year Award and recognized during an event as well as during the College Commencement ceremony in Chicago.
