About
I chose UICOMP because it offered the unique opportunity to combine my passions for pediatric critical care, medical education, and simulation in an academic environment that values innovation and collaboration. Since joining the faculty, I have enjoyed building educational programs, mentoring fellows and trainees, and developing simulation-based curricula that strengthen teamwork and clinical performance.
My academic interests include simulation-based medical education, pediatric transport medicine, fellowship education, and interprofessional training. I am particularly passionate about creating practical learning experiences that prepare healthcare teams to care for critically ill children with confidence and compassion.
Outside the hospital, I enjoy spending time with my family, running, and finding creative ways to make learning both meaningful and enjoyable.
