About

While I enjoy learning anything medicine, I love to play strategy card games like Yu-Gi-Oh! or Legends of Runeterra. These games give me a break from working by meeting new people from all walks of life and by challenging me with their strategies in the card games. Cooking is a nice easy escape from work as well, as it is mindless but requires some technique that can be easily tweaked! I love to find new recipes online and find new ways to change them up. Also, I enjoy reading sci-fi or fantasy books, and I could talk all day about my favorite author Brandon Sanderson. He’s the author that got me into reading, and I highly recommend giving any of his series a try!

Why I Chose Peoria

My mom moved to the midwest shortly before going to medical school, so when applying to residencies I wanted somewhere near her. Peoria gave me similar feelings to Little Rock (where I grew up most of my life), a small city or large town. Also, I felt that everyone I interviewed with in this program had the brightest personalities, and they made it easy seeing myself in this program!
