How do you like to spend your time?
I enjoy golfing and fishing in my free time. I’m a big fan of watching sports, mostly the Chicago Cubs and my Michigan Wolverines.
What is something that someone would be surprised to know about you?
I’ve been a certified scuba diver since age 15.
What do you like about Peoria the most so far?
I have been pleasantly surprised by the green spaces around town. I’m also appreciative of the low cost of living and traffic-free roads. I love the big city amenities with a small-town vibe.
Why did you choose UICOMP?
I grew up in Galesburg, Illinois, so for me choosing UICOMP was like returning home. UICOMP has the added benefit of taking in patients with complex pathology from the surrounding rural areas, offering excellent educational opportunities.
