About Me

Outside of work I enjoy being the mom of a very active toddler (Vivian). We have a lot of fun as a family exploring all the local activities including the zoo, Children’s Play House, numerous festivals, and many outdoor activities. My husband and I enjoy music and attending concerts. We also enjoy traveling, which has become a little more challenging with a toddler in tow. We are huge fans of our nieces’ volleyball teams and we can often be found cheering in crowd (Go Stags!). Professionally, my interests are resident and medical student education. I am a Pediatric Hospitalist and Sedation Medicine physician and I enjoy that variety of clinical care aspects that these two roles entail.

Why I Chose Peoria

My husband and I are both originally from the central Illinois area but we lived in Chicago for a number of years. We enjoy now being able to live close to family and the ease of the Peoria community for raising our family, working, and lifestyle in general. The career opportunities and the medical community here is tremendous. My work colleagues are like my second family. I am so happy that I have been able to work in and give back to the community that I grew up in.
