About
Dr. Heather McLauchlan is a general pediatrician caring for children at University Pediatrics.
She received her undergraduate degree from Harvard University in 1996 and graduated from Washington University School of Medicine in 2000. She completed Pediatrics residency training at the Boston Combined Residency Program in 2003.
Dr. McLauchlan currently serves as the clerkship director for third year medical students at the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria. She is also the Center Director for the Cystic Fibrosis Center at the Children’s Hospital of Illinois/OSF St. Francis Medical Center.
Dr. McLauchlan loves caring for children and families, teaching medical students, and being a wife and mom.
She loves to travel to faraway places, is active in her church, is a volunteer triple jump coach, and is a beginning stamp collector.
