Why I chose Peoria?
I like UICOMP OBGYN residency because of the breadth of knowledge that is available here. Wide range of instructors with different skills and experiences. I feel like I would’ve “seen it all” by the time I graduate and feel very comfortable with my abilities by the time I graduate. Also, the surgical skills that can be gained with our Gynecology Oncologists are amazing. You are in the OR very early into training and by the time I’m a 4th year, I feel very comfortable with complex skills and procedures.
