Jalayne Morrison Lapke, MD received her medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria. She completed her Internship in Pediatrics at the University of Michigan and her residency in Pediatrics at the University of Illinois at OSF Medical Center and Children's Hospital of Illinois in Peoria.
Dr. Lapke says she was always drawn to caring for children and loves the rapport she builds with their families. “I am honored to be allowed to be a small part of each family. I especially love caring for children with complex medical needs and helping to teach and empower parents.”
Dr. Lapke has one daughter and 4 dogs. She loves knitting, making pottery, traveling, visiting with friends and family, and cuddling with their dogs.
