Dr. Meha Halari was born in Edison, NJ. She grew up in Franklin Park & Manalapan, NJ. She graduated from high school in Freehold, NJ attending a magnet program for the Medical Sciences. She attend college at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ.
Dr. Halari went to medical school at the Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University here in IL. She went back to NJ for residency at Ocean University Medical Center in Brick, NJ. She was in their first class.
Dr. Halari practiced adult primary care for a year and a half in Forked River, NJ. She joined the Family Medicine Residency Program in Peoria, IL as faculty in January 2023. Dr. Halari’s special interests within family medicine include preventative and integrative medicine. Additionally, she is currently completing an Integrative Medicine Fellowship at Andrews Weil Center for Integrative Medicine in Tucson, AZ.
She enjoys music, travel and outdoor activities.
