Why I Love UICOMP/Peoria

Peoria offers the best of both worlds. Peoria is large enough to support the complexity and acuity of a robust children’s hospital, yet small enough to maintain a manageable pace of life, affordable cost of living, and a strong sense of community. At UICOMP, I’ve found a supportive, collaborative environment where I have the autonomy to pursue my clinical, operational, and educational interests while feeling deeply connected to a team that functions like a work family. The people I work with are not only exceptional clinicians but also incredible human beings, and I feel fortunate every day to be part of a community that values both professional growth and personal well-being.
