About
I am Dr. Tulika Chatterjee, MBBS, MD, MPH, and FACP. I completed medical school at Kasturba Medical College in Mangalore, India. Additionally, I pursued a Master's in Public Health (MPH) from Lund University in Sweden. In 2019, I completed my residency in Internal Medicine at the University Of Illinois College Of Medicine in Peoria (UICOMP), USA. Since then, I have been serving as an Assistant Professor of clinical medicine at UICOMP. I am also the lead clinician for the resident-run Internal Medicine clinic at Heartland Health Services in Peoria, IL which is a federally qualified health center (FQHC). My area of expertise is General Internal Medicine, and my area of research interest is Infectious Disease. I specialize in the utilization of research methodologies such as retrospective data analysis and conducting survey studies.
Why I Chose Peoria
I chose to stay in Peoria as it is a peaceful place to work and live, and more importantly, I appreciate the work culture in UICOMP and OSF.
