Wallenfang Honored in Essay Contest

Allison Wallenfang (UICOMP Class of 2026) was awarded 2nd Runner-Up in the Asok K. Ray, MD, and Purnima Ray Essay Contest offered through the University of Illinois College of Medicine. Her essay entitled “Last Days, Worst Days and Everyday Life in Emergency Medicine” is a reflection of a single-day ambulance response to a 9-1-1 call she encountered as an EMT.
