Congratulations to first-year UICOMP medical student Samantha Wahlers, who was nominated by the University of Illinois College of Medicine and selected by the American Association of Medical Colleges to attend a leadership development seminar for rising second-year medical students in June 2023.
The two-day RISE: Developing Future Leaders in Academic Medicine & Science seminar focuses on four core areas: Relationships, Influence, Self-Awareness and Effectiveness. It will be held at the AAMC Learning Center in Washington, D.C.
