About
I choose Peoria because of its affordable living, proximity to major cities such as Chicago, St. Louis, and Indianapolis, and numerous parks and outdoor activities. The program is passionate about resident education, excellent mentorship from senior residents and attendings, supportive leadership, and fantastic training that prepares me well for fellowship and life after residency. My hobbies include learning to play guitar, running, reading fiction and non-fiction, playing tennis and basketball, weightlifting, yoga, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. After residency, I plan to pursue a fellowship in Child Psychiatry or Infectious Disease.
