About
Sherrie is a native of Peoria, IL. She received a BBA in Business Management with a minor in Management Information Systems at the University of Illinois at Springfield. She spent 10 years working in the Middle East supporting LOGCAP- V & IV military essential support missions as a Department of Defense (DOD) contractor. During her time in the Middle East, she obtained a Master of Arts in Adult Education-Training Development from the University of Phoenix. She conducted several action research studies on instructional strategies in adult education, training, critical issues, and trends. When she returned to the states, she went on to teach Adult Education support courses at Illinois Central College. Her doctoral coursework was completed at the University of Phoenix Doctor of Management program in Organizational Leadership, with her doctorate anticipated by 2023. At UICOMP, Sherrie is the Program Coordinator for the Research Services Department.
