I take a holistic approach to patient care and treatment.
About
I am dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to the families I serve in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. With a focus on integrity and excellence, I strive to support and nurture my patients through the most critical stages of their early lives.
Neonatology is a dynamic and evolving field, constantly advancing to meet the unique needs of premature infants who require specialized care and support to thrive outside the womb. Witnessing these resilient babies overcome significant challenges and successfully graduate from the NICU is truly inspiring.
My journey into medicine was deeply influenced by my mother, a dedicated nurse with over 30 years of experience. The heartfelt stories she shared about her patients ignited my passion for medicine. Her unwavering bravery, strength, and compassion as both a nurse and an individual have been a source of inspiration for me. I aspire to embody even a fraction of the exemplary care she provides.
Why I Chose Peoria:
I chose to live in Peoria due to its robust and diverse network of world-class employers across various industries, including insurance, healthcare, and manufacturing. This dynamic environment fosters professional growth and opportunities, making it an ideal place to reside.
Additionally, my decision to work at the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria (UICOMP) as a neonatologist was driven by the supportive and collaborative culture among the faculty and staff. The welcoming atmosphere and the genuine commitment to helping each other create an enriching and fulfilling professional experience.
