Stephan Quarles is a dedicated staff Chaplain at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, providing compassionate support in the Surgical ICU and Palliative Cancer Clinic at Cancer Supportive Services. Before joining OSF, Stephan was a theology lecturer at the Church Divinity School of the Pacific. He holds a Ph.D. in systematic and philosophical theology from the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, CA, and an MDIV from Loyola Chicago.
In his personal life, Stephan finds joy in his committed partnership and treasures the blessings of family life with his spouse. Together, they embrace the joys and challenges of raising their six-year-old child. During his leisure time, Stephan indulges in the art of grilling, enjoys playing disc golf, and finds solace in playing the guitar.
