Family Medicine Residency - Peoria

About

I was born and raised in Jerseyville, IL, a small town just north of Alton, IL, in the St. Louis area. I headed east to Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana to get my Bachelors in Biological Engineering and then went west to go to Medical School at A.T. Still University in Kirksville, Missouri.

Family Medicine made sense to me because it offers what I want to learn to be the best physician I can be. Being able to treat anyone, from a toddler to a senior, for a variety of potential different medical problems is something I want to offer my patients and one of the reasons I chose UICOM-P for residency. It provides a great learning environment for the many different patient populations and presentations that will allow me to develop into the doctor I dream of becoming.

In my free time I am an avid gamer, whether that be boardgames or videogames. I closely follow the St. Louis Cardinals and Blues, I love to play intramural sports, and am into the fantasy genre, whether that be books, shows, or movies.
