About
I was born in Chicago and grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. I went to Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa. I received my Master’s in Public Health at the University of Illinois in Chicago and received my medical degree from Kansas City University. I am passionate about Public Health and Preventive medicine. Family Medicine provides a diverse scope of practice and versatility in treating patients through medical management and procedures. Not only that, but we have the privilege to be by our patients’ side to protect, promote, and advocate for their health.
I chose UICOMP Family Medicine because of the faculty, staff, and residents that create an intentional atmosphere of support and provide the best learning opportunities to challenge and nourish residents to grow and flourish. Furthermore, the close relationships the academic institution and affiliated hospital has with the community provides opportunities to serve and advocate for the underserved in our surrounding neighborhoods.
In my free time, I enjoy working out, painting, traveling, trying new restaurants in Peoria, and hanging out with my co-residents.
