About
About Me:
Outside of work I enjoy being a Mom! We have a lot of fun as a family exploring all the local activities including the Zoo, Children’s Play House, numerous festivals, and many outdoor activities. My husband and I enjoy live music and attending concerts. We also enjoy traveling and exploring new places. Professionally, my interests are resident and medical student education, patient safety, quality improvement, sedation medicine, career development, and mentorship. I am a Pediatric Hospitalist and Sedation Medicine physician, and I enjoy the variety of clinical care aspects that these roles entail.
Why I Chose Peoria:
My husband and I are both originally from the central Illinois area but we lived in Chicago for a number of years. We enjoy now being able to live close to family and the ease of the Peoria community for raising our family, working, and lifestyle in general. The career opportunities and the medical community here is tremendous. My work colleagues are like my second family. I am so happy that I have been able to work in and give back to the community that I grew up in.
