About
Dr. Natalie Krier grew up on a farm in Herrick, SD. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree at South Dakota University.
Dr. Krier went to medical school at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences, spending many of her clinical rotations in rural North Dakota. Her passion for rural medicine continued into residency. She was in the first class of resident physicians to train at the Sterling Colorado Rural Training Track, part of the North Colorado Family Medicine Residency program.
After residency, Dr. Krier worked in rural Minnesota for three years. She practiced full spectrum family medicine, including providing OB care and taking care of hospitalized patients. She joined the Family Medicine Residency Program in Peoria, IL as faculty in 2023. Dr. Krier’s special interests within family medicine include OB, gender affirming care, women’s health, and dermatology; including management of acne.
She and her husband, Fidel, have two boys; Alister and Sterling. She enjoys reading, travel, and spending time with family.
