Dr. Julian Lin graduated with highest honors from The University of Texas at Austin with a major in electrical engineering. He went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine degree with honors from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He is a Clinical Associate Professor of Neurosurgery and Pediatrics, as well as Section Head of the Department of Pediatric Neurosurgery at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria (UICOMP). He is on staff at all three Peoria hospitals, including the Children’s Hospital of Illinois located at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center. Dr. Lin’s interest is in the development of cerebrospinal fluid shunt systems in the treatment of hydrocephalus. He has collaborated with the Bradley Mechanical Engineering department for more than 25 years on various senior design projects.
