Robbie grew up in Peoria, where he earned his BS in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Bradley University. While at Bradley, he was an active member of multiple research labs where he was involved in work in social/personality psychology, as well as affective and behavioral neuroscience. After graduating, he moved to Auburn Hills, Michigan, to attend Oakland University, where he obtained his MS in Experimental Psychology. There, his time was split between comparative and social/cognitive research. After his time in Michigan, he moved home to Peoria, where he worked for several years as a psychometrist for OSF Medical Psychology and as an affiliate instructor at Bradley before joining the UICOMP Research Services team. At some point in the future, he hopes to pursue a PhD in cognitive psychology or neuroscience.
