About
I was born and raised in Cuba but my home-base is Miami. I love running, reading, painting and traveling the world with my fiance. I am interested in Plastics and Reconstructive surgery as a subspecialty.
Why I Chose Peoria
I chose Peoria because the early autonomy in the operating room that was self evident from conversations with prior residents. This has remained true for the past 4 years that I have been a resident. However the deciding factor for me was the cohesiveness of the General surgery residents and attendings.
How has your residency program helped you grow towards your career goals?
Amazing mentorship, clinically challenging in a healthy environment that promotes education and safety.
