About

Why I Chose Peoria

The high operative volume and autonomy along with the incredible people. The mentorship received from attendings and their care about residents being successful really stood out during my interview day. Additionally the residents all seemed to really get along which is what I was looking for in a program.

How has your residency program helped you grow toward your career goals?

There has been a lot of operative exposure and great mentorship. I matched into colorectal surgery which was my goal.
