About
I grew up in a suburb about 30 miles outside of Chicago, after that went onto UW-Madison where I majored in biology. I then went to Kansas City for medical school and am currently working my way back home. When I am not at work, I enjoy trying new restaurants to eat, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. I'm also an avid Chicago sports fan and will always be willing to go to just about any game.
I chose Peoria not only because it was in a great spot in between a lot of major cities and being closer to home, but every part of my interview trail was perfect. I was lucky enough to have a 2-week rotation scheduled during my fourth year, and from the first day I arrived, I was greeted by several of the current residents and faculty. My interview day was no different, and afterwards I really felt I would be supported no matter where the rest of my journey took me.
