About
I enjoy simulation training and am working to increase clinically relevant exposures to learners both at Jump Simulation Center and in the NICU. My athletic ability/interest extends only as far as fantasy football, of which I commission a number of leagues (two of which are housed here in the NICU). I have been blessed with a toddler who loves cars as much, if not more than I do, and we can often be found out together washing the car, at car shows or at our Hot Wheels track in the living room.
Why I Chose Peoria:
I have chosen Peoria twice now! After completing my medical school in Peoria, I elected to stay and complete my pediatric residency here as well. I went away for fellowship but have now returned as faculty. I keep coming back, due to the commitment of the attendings and programs to the education of learners across the board. The hospital/university facilities and opportunities here in Peoria are remarkable, given the city size. The city itself was the right size and fit for me and my growing family to take root.
