About

I was born and raised in central Illinois where I grew up on a farm. I attended Loyola University of Chicago where I earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. I then attended Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, Illinois. After medical school, I returned to central Illinois to complete my Family Medicine Residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria at Methodist Medical Center. Upon completion of residency, I practiced traditional Family Medicine and Occupational Medicine for a few years with BroMenn Medical Center in Eureka and Normal, Illinois. I also served as the employee health physician for BroMenn. After a few years, I transitioned to practicing primarily women's health and lifestyle medicine. I have a passion for lifestyle medicine and was in the first group of physicians to become board-certified in Lifestyle Medicine.

Family and Interests

My husband, Joe, and I have four children (Matthew, Eliza, Gabriel, and Eva) who keep us busy with all of their extracurricular activities. I also enjoy arts and crafts, cooking, gardening, running, traveling, and reading.
