Pediatric Resource Center Raising Awareness During Child Abuse Prevention Month
Join the PRC in commemorating the month and safeguarding the wellbeing and safety of children in central Illinois
April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, and the Pediatric Resource Center (PRC) invites you to join in their mission to raise awareness and provide support to young victims of violence:

- Participate – Sign up for the PRC Pinwheel 5K Race and Fun Walk, our community event to support survivors and raise awareness.
- Donate – Your contribution enables us to provide essential services such as specialized medical examinations and crisis counseling for children and their families. (link to giving page)
- Share – Spread awareness of child abuse in our community by displaying a PRC Pinwheel Pot or PRC awareness signs at your home, church, bank, or place of business. (Please call the PRC office at 309-624-9595 to make your pick up arrangements.) You can also share child abuse prevention messages on social media, encouraging others to stand against child abuse.
PRC’s work and community support builds a safer future for every child. Thank you for joining us in this vital mission to improve the health, safety, and advocacy for children and families impacted by child maltreatment.
