This award celebrates the UICOMP spirit through collaboration and teamwork. The nominator wrote:
The physical plant team always goes above and beyond to make sure the grounds and facility are well kept by performing and managing routine building maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing and general maintenance and also by assisting staff with their needs. They are prompt and always have a smile on their faces and a cheerful demeanor. We appreciate all of their dedication and hard work to the University and our staff and students.
