Aiyer awarded Mastership in the American College of Physicians
Meenakshy Aiyer, MD, interim regional dean of the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria, has been awarded Mastership by the American College of Physicians (ACP), the national organization of internists.
Election to mastership recognizes outstanding and extraordinary career accomplishments.
Masters must have made a notable contribution to medicine. This includes but is not limited to teaching, outstanding work in clinical medicine (research or practice), contributions to preventative medicine, improvements in the delivery of healthcare, and/or contributions to medical literature.
Aiyer will be honored during the 2020 ACP annual conference in Los Angeles.
