UICOMP Research Day will include:
- 12:00-1:00 p.m. — Keynote Presentation by Dr. Lawrence A. Tabak, Principal Deputy Director of National Institutes of Health (NIH)
- "The View from NIH: Many Challenges, Many Opportunities"
(Insight from the NIH - discussing a lack of clinical research, infrastructure, mentoring, needed resources, and seed funding; and the resources and opportunities available to address these issues.)

- 1:00-2:00 p.m. — James Scholars presentations
- 2:00–3:30 p.m. — Poster viewing and judging
- 3:30–4:30 p.m. — Selected presentations by students and social hour (sandwiches, snacks, and refreshments will be served)
- 4:30–5:00 p.m. — Awards Ceremony
