Brain death determination and management requires a unique blend of up-to-date knowledge, technical skills, and interpersonal skills to assure accurate diagnosis and optimize family coping.
This offers a unique opportunity for our region and is sponsored in conjunction with Gift of Hope. This workshop is offered twice per year to the following groups:
- Residents
- APP
- Faculty
- Participants from outlying institutions
The goal is to provide attendees with a comprehensive experience that will enhance confidence with the most contemporary approach to brain death determination and management.
Virtual Reality Heading link
The program is continuously developing virtual reality platforms to teach vascular neuroanatomy and will continue to expand this innovative teaching tool moving forward. This is a true elective that residents interested in VR development and creation have the opportunity to take.
