The hospital is designated as a Level 1 Trauma Center and serves a broad population of patients. The hospital’s vast referral area assures that our fellows see a tremendous variety of clinical cases and have an opportunity to work closely with (and be mentored by) faculty from all disciplines.

We are extremely fortunate to be affiliated with the Jump Training Simulation and Education Center, a world class facility on the hospital campus designed for simulation training and medical innovation. Fellows spend time at Jump for didactic and hands-on training, and they also have an opportunity to pursue advanced training in simulation science.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Illinois
This organization includes 40,000 square foot facility four stories tall with 22 suites.
They serve over 700 families per year, offering a supportive place for families to stay while their child is receiving medical care. They also offer support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children. -
Family House
Family House provides affordable, home-like accommodations for families of patients or individuals receiving health care services in the Peoria area. Their facilities include 20 residence rooms, each with adjoining private bathrooms, televisions, and private telephones.
