Sarah Donohue grew up in New Mexico and received a B.A. in Neuroscience from Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts. After graduating, she spent several years working as a lab manager for a developmental neuroimaging lab at UC Davis. Her graduate work was done at Duke University where she earned a Ph.D. in Neurobiology with a focus in Cognitive Neuroscience. There, she used EEG and behavioral methods to examine the neural correlates of attention and multisensory processing. Her postdoctoral research was conducted in Germany where she used EEG, MEG, and MRI to study addiction and attention at the Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg and the Leibniz Institute for Neurobiology. In July of 2020, she began work as the Director of Research Services at UICOMP.
