About
I'm originally from Nigeria and moved to the U.S. when I was 17. I earned my bachelor’s degree in biology from UT Dallas and completed my master’s in health administration at American Public University. I received my medical education at Ross University School of Medicine. Outside of medicine, I enjoy cooking, bike riding, watching good fantasy or thriller series, and spending quality time with my husband and daughter.
Why I Chose Peoria
I like that UICOMP FM provides unopposed, wide-spectrum family medicine experience. I like the community hospital setting, while also a university-linked program with academic resources. Encounters with faculty and residents at the AAFP conference and during the second look gave me a sense of a supportive and nurturing environment. Also, Peoria provides a nice, calm community with access to larger cities and family.
