About

I was born in the Philippines but have lived in the Midwest for practically my whole life. This is part of the inspiration for my desire to work in local global health, working with underserved populations, and promoting health equity on a community-level. When not at the hospital or clinic, I love being outside! Running with friends, finding paths to road bikes, and gardening tomatoes that I’ll mostly give away are my favorite pastimes.

Why I Chose Peoria:

If you’re looking for a program that will give you breadth and depth of both medicine and pediatrics clinical training while also fostering your growth as a professional in a highly supportive setting, Peoria is the right place for you! Peoria has a good balance of academic medicine in a community-oriented setting. As someone who’s interested in primary care, having continuity clinic at both a community clinic and our FQHC (Heartland) provides the exposure I need to feel prepared for practice in any setting.
