About
Dr. Mary Fischer was raised in urban Florida and rural Kansas. She attended Illinois State University where she majored in Molecular and Cellular Biology before attending The University of Kansas School of Medicine. She has invested heavily in learning about other cultures throughout her education by spending time in Haiti, Mexico, Guatemala, and Kenya.
Dr. Fischer completed her Family Medicine Residency at Via Christi in Wichita, Kansas. She has a passion for full spectrum family medicine including obstetrics, serving vulnerable populations, and teaching.
In her free time, she enjoys various outdoor activities, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. Dr. Fischer is excited to begin this next stage of lifelong learning by gaining further experience with high risk and surgical OB as well as working with other learners.
