Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Hosts Heart Dissection for Fellows Across State

The UICOMP Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship arranged a heart dissection session for Downstate Illinois fellows last week at Jump Education and Simulation Center.
Fellows from Peoria, Urbana and Springfield participated in this opportunity to learn and collaborate. The group plans to create similar opportunities in the future, and thanks to the faculty, fellowship leadership and staff who completed the groundwork and commitment to make this happen.
A shoutout to Salah Altarabsheh, MD, for the “lead and follow” dissection session and to Ashwarya Mangla, MD, and Siddharth Shah, MD, who led the didactic session.
