Biographical Info

My main role as Program Coordinator is to support the needs of the Program Director, faculty, and residents to ensure that the MedPeds office runs efficiently and effectively. I assist with maintaining records, processing reimbursements, scheduling, communication within the program as well as with the University and OSF, and event planning. A combined residency program can be complex, so I will always be available to listen to any needs or concerns as we work towards our common goal of preparing excellent and confident physicians.

About Me

I am excited to return to the University of Illinois in an administrative capacity after graduating with a Bachelor’s of Liberal Arts and Sciences from the Urbana-Champaign campus in 2012. Originally from Denver, my family moved to Peoria when my father took a position as a physician at the Illinois Neurological Institute. Despite my educational focus being in Japanese language and culture, I am quite familiar with both the OSF environment and University of Illinois system having “grown up” with them. In addition to speaking fluent Japanese, I also spent twelve years of my academic career studying French. I spent a couple of my college years living in Tokyo as well. Outside of work, my hobbies include performing in local community theatre productions, obsessing over all things Disney (Disneyland is my favorite place on the planet!), travelling, hiking , and following my favorite musical artists around like the ultimate fan girl. Part time, I portray princesses for birthday parties and local events, which I love because I get to make people smile. Overall, I am an extremely outgoing person who enjoys meeting new people and exploring new places. I look forward to working with you!
