Alumni
Since its founding in 1981, the Peoria Combined Internal Medicine-Pediatrics Residency Program has graduated 189 physicians, board eligible in both disciplines. The University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria is ranked #11 nationwide in terms of producing primary care physicians amongst colleges of medicine.
Diverse practice options are available after residency — including hospitalist positions, fellowship / subspecialty, and primary care. Recent graduates have specialized in pediatric hematology/oncology, sports medicine, cardiology/congenital heart and medical simulation.
