First accredited in 1955, the UICOMP Internal Medicine program has over 66 years of experience in high quality resident education.

Centered at OSF HealthCare Saint Francis Medical Center, the program receives exemplary training at a 616 bed tertiary referral center and state of the art simulation center.

The Internal Medicine Residency Program accepts 12 categorical residents into each first-year class.

You will learn from clinicians who have not only “been there, done that” but are “in there, doing that.” Full-time faculty members are practicing clinician-educators, with extensive practical patient care experience. Their priority is clinical education in the context of excellent patient care. They are here for you.
