UICOMP Accepts Handmade Masks for Use by Students, Faculty and Staff

The University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria is accepting donations of handmade masks.

With the recent CDC guidelines for everyone to wear masks in public, these donations of handmade masks will allow UICOMP to keep its students, faculty and staff safe while also allowing the preservation of PPE (personal protective equipment) for patient-care and clinical settings.

A drop-off box will be located outside the main entrance. Donated masks should be clean and inside a plastic bag.

Any mask pattern may be used.
