Poster Printing Submissions Due: April 6

Limit two submissions (as first author) per person.

GME and Academic Affairs will cover the cost for one submission per resident or student.

  • 8:30 – 9:00 a.m. – Registration and Poster Setup
  • 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. – Poster Session 1
  • 10:00 – 11:45 a.m. – James Scholar Session 1 (seven 10-minute presentations, five-minute Q&A)
  • 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. – Keynote Presentation with Lunch (Room A100‑1) — "Artificial Intelligence in Education, Research, and Clinical Practice," presented by Yoon Soo Park, PhD
  • 1:00 – 1:15 p.m. – Poster Removal (Session 1) and Setup (Session 2)
  • 1:15 – 2:15 p.m. – James Scholar Session 2 (four 10-minute presentations, five-minute Q&A)
  • 2:15 – 3:15 p.m. – Poster Session 2
  • 3:15 – 3:30 p.m. – Poster Removal (Session 2)
  • 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. – Student/Resident Oral Presentations (six presentations, seven-minute talk with three-minute Q&A)

Yoon Soo Park, PhD | Department Head and Ilene B. Harris Endowed Professor in the Department of Medical Education | University of Illinois College of Medicine Chicago

Yoon Soo Park, PhD, is the Department Head and Ilene B. Harris Endowed Professor in the Department of Medical Education. He holds a PhD in Measurement, Evaluation, and Statistics from Columbia University. Dr. Park’s experience spans both academic and industry settings, with research focused on AI, data science, and learning analytics methodologies. His work has been supported by more than 40 grant-funded projects and has resulted in over 300 peer‑reviewed journal articles. Dr. Park has served as Vice President of the American Educational Research Association (AERA) and as Chair of Research in Medical Education for the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC). He also serves on advisory boards for the World Health Organization (WHO), the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), and Intealth. Dr. Park will deliver the UICOMP Research Day keynote presentation, "Artificial Intelligence in Education, Research, and Clinical Practice."
