Menopause Matters: Science, Care and Community is presented by the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria, Office of the Lt. Governor Juliana Stratton, and Women Employed.

Join us for an Illinois Menopause Awareness Week event dedicated to breaking the silence around menopause. You’ll hear from panelists about the impact of menopause and the importance of midlife menopause care and research for women. Featured panelists include international menopause expert and researcher Pauline Maki, PhD; Makeba Williams, MD, Peoria’s newest provider who will launch the Menopause Clinic at the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria; and Sarah Labadie of Women Employed.

Menopause impacts women, families, communities and workplaces. This is a chance to learn, connect, and change the way we talk about women’s health. Whether you’re experiencing menopause, supporting someone who is, or simply want to understand its impact, please join us.

Light refreshments will be served.
